Welcome to the SoFAB Wiki!

The SoFAB Wiki is a new wiki sponsored by the Southern Food and Beverage Museum that we hope will eventually be the most comprehensive source of information about Southern food and drink. Please become part of this project and share your knowledge and your interests with everyone. You are all invited to contribute.

There are no special qualifications required for you to contribute. Your age, your location, your education are not important. You can add topics and entries as well as edit existing entries. You can also add references, cross-references and citations. Please see the editing policies.

This reference work is going to improve with time and your participation. It will continually be updated and the depth and breadth of coverage will be enhanced. We ask your indulgence and your patience as you find entries that are not complete or even inaccurate. Please edit them and make them better. Please return to the cite often as we expect it to change often.

If you are interested in becoming a regular volunteer editor of this wiki, please get in touch with us at info@southernfood.org.

Using the SoFAB Wiki
SoFAB Wiki entries are or will be linked to other entries. You can learn more information about something by clicking on the linked words. You will find other links and references and cross-references at the end of most entries. You can search broad categories as well as specific entries. But keep in mind that this project has just begun and it is still developing. If you do not find what you are looking for, you can add the beginnings of an entry and thus encourage someone to contribute in that subject.
